Newsletter #19 - 2 October 2024

The final stretch of the year is here. It came around so fast, I have to be honest, I wasn't prepared for it at all and it is here bringing all sorts of changes. Keeping that in mind, let's get into some important things for the last bit of time for the year.

LESSON SCHEDULES

It appears that there will be numerous scheduling conflicts moving forward for the rest of the year. Over the past week and the week before, I have had to manage a significant number of requests and adjustments. I will make every effort to accommodate each request for rescheduling or relocation this week or permanent relocations, but it will be challenging due to the full schedule. Additionally, this process takes time as I need to gather feedback from multiple sources before making any changes. Your patience is appreciated, and I apologize in advance if any lessons are missed as a result. I understand the importance of this period leading up to the year-end exams, and therefore, each request is treated as a top priority.

EXAM SCHEDULES

As you all know, exams are approaching. During exams, students prefer not to have math or science lessons after their exams. Therefore, I allow you to reschedule any lessons that are scheduled after your exams. However, I cannot cancel these lessons or offer credits. I encourage you to contact me promptly so we can arrange extra sessions in the mornings during your exam period to ensure you make the most of your lessons. Please remember that lessons will continue until December 6, 2024. These additional slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so please don't wait until the last minute to avoid disappointment and frustration.

STUDENT WHATSAPP GROUPS UPDATE

At present, the Whatsapp groups appear to be functioning quite efficiently, and I believe they will prove to be a crucial tool for coordinating and staying informed about activities in each school simultaneously. I encourage every student to make sure to contact me whenever they notice the message. Currently, only around 60% are consistently utilizing this feature. Please be attentive and make sure to check in regularly.

INVOICING

Today is the 2nd of October, and invoices were already sent out on the 23rd of September. If your account remains unsettled, I will not be able to attend lessons until it is resolved. I will resend the outstanding invoices today through our communication channels. Kindly ensure that payment is made before your next lesson.

If you require any help with the aforementioned or any new matters that have arisen since our last correspondence, please inform me.

Best wishes,

Werner
